Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These terms govern access to and use of the Super Tic Tac Toe service ("the service"). The service allows you to play ultimate tic-tac-toe, alone against an opponent on the same screen, or online against another player.

Using the service — including without an account — constitutes acceptance of these terms. Anyone who does not accept them must stop using it.

2. Operator

3. Access to the service

Access is free. Local mode requires no account. Online play requires an account, registered or guest: a guest account is opened with a username, cannot be used to log back in later, and disappears with the current session.

The service is provided with no guarantee of availability. It may be interrupted, modified, or discontinued at any time, notably for maintenance, without notice or compensation.

4. Account

• The account is personal. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and for the games played from your account.
• The username is visible to other players. It must neither impersonate a third party nor include abusive, hateful, or unlawful content.
• The service is not intended for those under 15 without the consent of a holder of parental authority.
• You may request the deletion of your account at any time, by email to the address given in the Privacy.

5. Rules of conduct

The following are prohibited:

• using a program that plays in your place, or any form of automated assistance during a rated game;
• deliberately and repeatedly abandoning games, manipulating the ranking through collusive games, creating multiple accounts for this purpose;
• any attempt at unauthorized access to the service, its data, or that of another player;
• circumventing technical limitations, in particular the rate limits protecting registration and login;
• any action aimed at degrading the service's availability for other players.

6. Sanctions

Failure to comply with these rules may result, depending on its severity, in the suspension or deletion of the account, without notice where the breach harms the service or its players. Deletion of the account gives rise to no compensation.

7. Intellectual property

The interface, texts, and name of the service are protected. They may not be reproduced or reused without the operator's consent, subject, where applicable, to the license under which the source code is published — see the Legal notice.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". The operator guarantees neither the absence of interruption, nor the absence of error, nor the retention of games played. Its liability cannot be engaged for indirect damages resulting from the use or unavailability of the service.

None of these provisions has the effect of excluding liability that the law does not permit to be excluded, notably in the case of gross or willful misconduct, nor the rights that consumers hold under the law.

9. Personal data

The processing of data is described in the Privacy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be amended. The applicable version is the one published on this page; its update date appears at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new version.

11. Governing law

Governing law: français. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought with the operator before any legal action. Failing that, the competent courts are those designated by the ordinary rules of law.
